Peace on your path, even when you are in the middle of a storm

Peace… A little word with a big result. If you have ever lived a period of time without it, then you have found out the hard way that PEACE IS PRICELESS. It’s hard to put a price-tag on peace.

​Think about it this Holiday season, Jesus was born to bring us peace.

“For unto us a child is born…and He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

The Prince of Peace. What a title that is!

After fulfilling His ministry on earth when Jesus spoke to His disciples before ascending into heaven, He shared the gift He was leaving behind…

“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you.” John 14:27

Jesus could’ve left any gift. He chose to leave us peace because He knew we would need it more than anything.

There is a calm spot in the middle of storms. A place where there is peace. Maybe you are in the middle of a mess. Have you found your sweet spot? The place where there is peace even though your world may not be right around you.

My prayer for you this season is that if you don’t have peace, you would pursue it and if you have peace, you would protect it!

“…seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14b
