When your center of gravity is off…
I may or may not have fallen off this hammock while at a Lake House with my family this summer:) If you know me at all…you know that I did!!! It is amazing the changes a pregnant body go through especially when it comes to our center of gravity. Every day tasks take on a new challenge…putting pants on, painting toe nails, shaving, getting in and out of a car and now I would like to add to the list, getting on and off of a hammock.
Having my center of gravity change has caused me to look at things differently and see things from a new perspective. It also has helped me slow down and to be grateful for my health and normal ease in completing life’s daily tasks.
Sometimes it is good to have our “normal” interrupted so we can see things with fresh eyes, yet we can still have the security of knowing that there is One who never changes and can always be relied on…”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8).
I am 31 1/2 weeks pregnant with healthy boy/girl twins as a surrogate for a wonderful family. God is good.
